Presentation Guidelines

Oral Presentation

BioRob 2026 papers will be presented in-person during oral presentations.

  • Each paper will have a 12-minute talk + 3 min Q&A.
  • Bring your own laptop and video output adapter for the presentation. Projectors in all rooms accept HDMI input only, so presenters using USB-C or other video outputs should bring a compatible HDMI adapter.

Poster Presentation

There are two types of sessions related to posters: (1) the Rapid-Fire Poster Pitch Session, and (2) the Poster Sessions during coffee breaks. The conference program will include information about your assigned poster day.

  1. Rapid-Fire Poster Pitch Session
  • Each presenter will give a 60-second overview of their research.
  • All poster presenters should go to Hall C and upload their poster pitch presentation to the shared PC in the Poster Presentations folder in advance. Upload your slides at the beginning of or before the registration session: around 8:00 on Sunday, and 8:30 on Monday and Tuesday.
  • Name your presentation file starting with your poster number, followed by the surname of the first author. For example, SuPO1P1_surname.pptx would be the filename for the first poster on Sunday in the first poster session (PO1). Your exact poster number (for example, SuPO1P1) can be found in the detailed online program.
  • At the start of the rapid-fire poster session, presenters for that day should line up on the side of the auditorium in the order of their poster presentation.
  • When called by the Rapid-Fire Poster Pitch Session chair or co-chair, each presenter should come forward, open their presentation from the shared PC, and deliver a one-minute pitch.
  • There will be no audience questions during the rapid-fire poster session.
  1. Poster Sessions:
  • Please print and bring your own posters, no larger than 36 inches wide and 48 inches in height (i.e., 91 cm x 122 cm; portrait format), and attach them to the assigned poster board first thing in the morning on the assigned poster session day.
  • Each poster board will be numbered, and you should hang your poster in the allotted space corresponding to your number.
  • Poster sessions will be scheduled during morning and afternoon coffee breaks. You should take down your poster at the end of the assigned day.
  • We kindly request that you stand by your poster during coffee breaks on your assigned presentation day.
